Many companies have commented negatively when Microsoft introduced Surface tablet hers. The most frequently grumble is Acer CEO very denounced Microsoft. However, Asus is also apparently felt threatened by the presence of the tablet.
This is evident from the price cutting measures undertaken by the tablet Asus RT VivoTab hers. If the original tablet that uses Windows OS RT is priced at 600 USD (5.8 million dollars), Asus is now giving discounts to 549 USD. Meanwhile, Microsoft Surface tablet RT hers with prices starting from 499 USD to 699 USD.
As with Surface RT, RT VivoTab also comes with an additional keyboard. The difference, provided by Asus keyboard is more like a docking keyboard used on the Asus Transformer. By using the docking, the tablet will acquire additional power capacity up to 7 hours.
In addition, the Windows tablet Asus RT also features an 8MP camera on the back. The camera is better than RT Surface that has a 5MP camera. Furthermore, in terms of the capacity of RAM, VivoTab RT also offers 2GB of RAM, same as RT Surface tablet.
