Evolution Of Mobile Phone By DoCoMo Exhibition From The Ancient To The Touchscreen

Are you the type of person who likes to collect all cell phones have you had than to sell it to a friend? If so, perhaps one of the phone to your collection you can find at the exhibit this unique phone.

Held in commemoration of the 20th birthday, leading mobile operator Japan NTT DoCoMo some time ago to make a unique exhibition themed mobile phone evolution. The exhibition showcased all DoCoMo phones that have circulated in the market from 1987 to 2012.

In addition to the anniversary of DoCoMo, the evolution of mobile exhibition is also part of Tokyo Designers Week. If you do not have the opportunity to visit the exhibition but was curious what the phone display, Docomo gives a graphic containing 611 phones they exhibited complete with release year.

Of all the phones on display, mobile design changes can be seen from time to time. As the Motorola RAZR is very popular as a flip phone in 2004, followed by a variety of manufacturers to release a phone with similar design. But in 2007, when Apple released the iPhone for the first time, one by one manufacturer and then switched to creating a full-touchscreen phone designs. And from there comes the various patent lawsuits related to the design and features of the iPhone...
